Recorded these songs one snowy New Hampshire Christmas alone in a cozy house in the woods I was housesitting for a few days for some fellow ethnomusicologists. (Tim and Minja, for those who know). I had the music (an old book of English and Appalachian folk songs, some of my own transcriptions of Bach and some earlier composers), they had a great guitar and a pet cockatiel (Piku, whom you can hear on some tracks singing along with me, as he often did).
