From the 1991 Black Saint CD "Eugene (1989)." Funded by a Meet-the-Composer.grant to Pacific Rim Players. Two of my solos from the live recording (five stars in Down Beat and The Penguin Guide to Recorded Jazz) of a concert of Anthony Braxton's works commissioned by me for my Northwest Creative Orchestra in 1989. My solos sandwich a snippet of Ashland composer Todd Barton's improvisations on his breath-controlled MIDI instrument.
